Sara was born and raised in Southern California. She’s lived in Japan and Florida, and now resides in San Diego with her husband of 11 years and their 6 year old daughter. She has her California teaching credential, but doesn’t teach at the present time, instead spending her time taking care of her family and doing artwork and pottery.

Exhibition at the San Diego County Fair

Recently Sara had a great time participating in a demonstration at the San Diego County Fair. She always enjoys throwing pots on the wheel, but the best part of the experience was seeing so many people who were interested in working with clay.

Hopefully some of the interested parties will get in touch with CASD and really get 'dirty'. It really is an addicting art form. And by the way, if you haven't been to the Del Mar Fair this year, you must go. Even if it's just to see the trippy dancing robot guy.
